IRCTC new facility: Now passengers can file complaints about dirty coach, stinking toilets issues via this unique service

Indian Railways has brought a new facility for the passengers to make their journey more convenient and safe. With this unique service, passengers will be able to file the complaints about the technical related issues, dirty coach problems or unclean washroom. These kinds of problems always irritate passengers while traveling by train.

 

In an effort to solve such troubles, IRCT has released a new facility called ‘Coach Mitra’ that will help passengers in raising their complaint online.


It is a single window interface that will allow passengers to register their complaint about cleaning, train lighting, air conditioning, etc complaints related to coaches.

To file the complaint, candidates can send SMS to the number provided by Railways or through an Android application or also via logging on the webpage.

However, this new facility is available only for 2,167 trains.

Also, Western Railways informed about this new service on its official Twitter handle.

‘During your long travels with Western Railway, you may require the services of cleaning in your coach. Feel free to use our Coach Mitra Service. Apart from SMS, you can also enter your PNR at cleanmycoach.com.’

 

Here’s how to file complaint via SMS:

SMS to 58888 or 9200003232 by typing CLEAN< Space ><10-digit PNR number>< Space >SERVICE TYPE CODE

Also, passengers can also request for coach mitra services by sending SMS to 9821736069.

Here's how to send message:

OB<10-digit PNR number>
For example, OB T 2945014563 Toilet choked

Also, candidates can booked their complaint on the official website of Coach Mitra.
