Hyderabad: Man commits suicide after killing his wife, two children; suicide note found

In a shocking case has come to light from Hyderabad where man ended his life after murdering his wife and two children on Saturday.

The appalling incident took place in LB Nagar. The deceased has been identified as K Pradeep Kumar (software engineer), who killed his wife Swathi, children—Kalyan Krishna and Jaya Krishna.

The body of four people was found inside the house. The reason behind killing the family was the loan of Rs 22 lakh than Pradeep was not able to pay.

As per the police, the techie poisoned his wife and children before committing suicide. A suicide note also found in a diary when he mentioned the reason for murdering the family i.e. the loan.

He wrote the suicide note in Telugu language and mentioned the flawed financial decision taken by him.

The incident came to light when Pradeep’s brother-in-law Satish visited to his residence at around 3 am on Monday as he failed to contact the family on phone. In an attempt to enter the house Satish broke open windowpane and found Pradeep’s body. After seeing his body, Satish immediately informed the Police.

The police rushed to the spot after receiving a call and recovered four dead bodies in the house.

According to the media reports, Pradeep has confessed in the suicide note that he made a hasty financial decision as he wanted to start his own company. He also wrote that he made a rash decision as he was desperate to clear his home at the earliest.

Reports said that Pradeep had borrowed money from private money lenders. Due to which lenders were pressurizing Pradeep to return the money.

The deceased wrote in suicide note in Telugu, “I wanted to do something in life. I did not want to depend on my job and wanted to own a company. For this, I wanted to earn money and, at the same time, clear my house loan. To meet these wishes, I made a hasty decision.”

"At an age when I should be looking after my parents, I became dependent on them. If only I commit suicide, my wife and children would be completely dependent on my parents," Pradeep mentioned in a suicide note.
