Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam 2: Man files divorce to reunite his wife with her boyfriend

The blockbuster film hit the silver screen in 1999. Now, the same story with a twist has occurred in the capital city of Madhya Pradesh, where a man approached a family court in Bhopal and filed a divorce case so that he can allow his wife to go back her boyfriend, whom she loved seven years ago, India Today reported.

As per the reports, the husband wanted his wife to be happy, either she lived with him or with her lover.

The case was filed in the Kolar area of Bhopal. The man is a software engineer while his wife is a fashion designer and they tied knot seven years back. The couple also has two children.

Reports suggested that both of them were living their life happily until the woman didn’t know that her lover still wants to marry her.

However, her parents were against the relationship and hence, they married her. This was also the reason behind the quarrel between the husband and wife.

Because of disturbances in married life, the woman decided to return to her lover and leave her family.

When the dispute between the couple reached the family court, they were counseled. However, the husband tried to convince his wife to return but she didn’t get ready. Then, her husband decided to take divorce from her because their fights also affecting their children.

The man has sought custody of his two children, to which his wife agreed. Also, he allowed meeting her children whenever she wants.
