Haryana: Man pushes three children into canal, after heated argument with wife

In yet another appalling incident reported from the state of Haryana, a man who was said to be in an inebriated state, allegedly pushed his three kids into a canal after a heated altercation with his wife.

The incident happened on Monday evening near Kulvehri village. A team of divers was pressed into service to search for the kids but so far they have not been found.

The missing kids are aged 3, 5 and 8, according to a report in Hindustan Times. Meanwhile, police have taken the accused into custody.

The accused had a heated argument with his wife after which he took his three children on his bike and pushed them into a canal.

As villagers came to know about the incident, they tried to rescue the kids but couldn't find them.

The accused, identified as Sushil has reportedly confessed to the crime. He has accused his wife of having an extra-marital affair.

According to Kunjpura police station Station House Officer (SHO), the search operation was underway with help of divers.
