Haridwar: People throw chairs at each other during Qawwali event; video goes viral

A Qawwali event ruined after people started hurling a chair at each other. A video has surfaced the Internet in which people can be seen throwing chairs at each other.

The incident took place on November 19 at an event organized in Haridwar.


As per the reports of ANI, the fight broke out over the seating arrangement. After which people have started throwing chairs at each other.

The video was shared by ANI on Twitter, in which people were seen brutally attacking each other with chairs. Later, Police officials intervened to control the ferocious clash between the audience in the event.

The event was organized on November 19 at Mohalla Kaithwar in Haridwar. However, no injuries have been reported, ANI reports said.

Meanwhile, the video has garnered 45k views and has been shared widely on the micro-blogging site.

Netizens are posting funny comments on the serious clash that broke out during the qawwali event.

 

Meanwhile, Kamlesh Upadhyay, Superintendent of Police (SP), Haridwar, said that the case will be investigated.

"A few boys threw chairs at each other but police personnel were present there so we did enquire the matter. We are identifying the people involved in this matter. We will investigate the case," Kamlesh Upadhyay was quoted as saying by ANI.
