Gurugram: 35-year-old man shot dead by friend in PG accommodation after argument
In an appalling incident of violence reported from Gurugram’s Islampur village, a 35-year-old man was killed allegedly by his friends after arguments inside a paying guest (PG) accommodation.
According to the report, the man has been identified as Sandeep from Rothak’s Sampla village, he was staying with two other friends in PG accomodation.
The incident happened when the trio living together had a verbal spat, after which two friends fired a gun shot at the third one. The accused have been identified as Manisha and Jonty.
As per the police, the incident happened at the PG, when neighbours rushed to the crime spot after hearing gunshot. Sandeep's neighbours found him lying in a pool of blood, he was rushed to a nearby private hospital where he was declared dead on arrival.
The police said, a pistol has been recovered from the PG accomodation, and search operation to nab the accused is underway.
Talking about the situation, police said, “The duo fled leaving their pistol at the crime scene. The murder seems to be fall out of an old enmity. The exact reason can be determined after their arrest,” as saying was quoted by the Times of India.
A case has been lodged under Section 302 (murder) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), and relevant sections of the Arms Act, 1959 was also filed at Sadar police station, Islampur Village, Sector 38, Gurugram.
