Tuition teacher elopes with her 17-year-old student

In a shocking incident, a tuition teacher allegedly eloped with her Class 11th student in Haryana’s Panipat.

The incident was reported last week when the woman went missing along with her 17-year-old student.

The parents of the minor boy approached the police and filed a complaint against her. Class 11th student’s parents told police that the woman had been giving tuitions to their son for the past two or three months. After the school closed due to the lockdown, she used to teach him for around four hours daily at their home.

According to News18, on May 29, their son went to his teacher’s house located in the Desraj colony. The woman who said to be divorced was living at her maternal home with her parents. When the boy didn’t return home, his parents got suspicious and worried about his safety. They went to the house of the teacher, however, initially, the teacher’s family members didn’t say anything, but, after a while, the father of the woman told the boy’s parents about her disappearance.

Meanwhile, police have registered a case of kidnapping against the accused teacher and also started searching for them. The mobile phones of the boy and the teacher have been switched off since their disappearance. No clue has been found regarding their whereabouts.

Neither teacher nor the student took any valuable items from their house.

According to investigating officer Rana Pratap, the cops are trying to trace the woman and the student. Further action will be taken after any information will be received in the matter.
