Delhi shocker: 17-year-old boy murders father over trivial issues

In a shocking incident coming in from the national capital, A 17-year-old son killed his father by hitting him with a rolling pin in Sarai Rohilla. The PS Sarai Rohilla police registered a murder case under several sections of the Indian Penal Code [IPC] against the son and arrested him.

The horrifying incident happened on August 22, following which sub-inspector Ashok of Railway Protection Special Force (RPSF) took the man, identified as Bansi Lal to the Northern Railway Central Hospital in Pahar Ganj.

The doctor who prepared the Medico-Legal Case (MLC) said the patient was brought dead to the hospital.

The dead body of the victim was sent for autopsy which revealed nineteen injuries, including many bruises and fractures in the ribs of the victim.

The report also mentioned the cause of death to be intracerebral damage and haemorrhagic shock.

In the time of investigation, police found out that Bansi Lal had a fight with his son over some trivial issue on the day of his death.

Following a comprehensive interrogation, family members revealed that on August 22, Bansi Lal reached home in an intoxicated condition. On reaching home, he began hurling abuse at his minor son and kicked him.

Infuriated by this, his son launched an attack and thrashed him using a rolling pin, causing multiple injuries to him.

The police have also recovered the rolling pin used to kill the deceased from the crime spot.

While the accused was produced before the Juvenile Justice Board (JJB) on Monday, police are still investigating the matter.
