Delhi man stabs restaurant worker after he refuses to share liquor
In a shocking incident of crime, a man has been taken into police custody for allegedly stabbing a restaurant employee in the national capital, According to reports, the accused carried out the crime after the restaurant worker refused to share his liquor with him.
Earlier on 17th November, a hospital notified the Delhi Police that a man, identified as Dinesh Tamang, aged 30, had been brought in with stab wounds on his neck. The victim, who was not able to speak, was later referred to the LNJP Hospital for medical care, as per a report published by The Times of India.
Following police efforts resulted in the arrest of the accused, identified as Prakash Sharma. A police official said Tamang, a restaurant staff, was drinking alcohol with someone in Lahori Gate locality. Sharma asked Tamang to share his wine with him. Tamang, however, denied.
Infuriated over the same, Sharma launched an attack on Tamang with a cutter and then ran awayfrom the crime spot, the officer said, as per a report published by The Times of India.
In a separate incident of crime, a 20-year-old youth lost his life after he was brutally thrashed by a few villagers over his refusal to tie the knot with his fiancée with whom he was having a live-in relationship.
The deceased victim has been identified as Sanjay Bhusra. Acording to the investigation, Bhusra got engaged to a girl three years back. For the past one year, the two had been in a live-in relationship. Bhusra, however, refused to marry the girl, after which her father, identified as Lakshman, approached the village panchayat to intervene in the matter.
Some villagers then brutally thrashed Bhusra. The villagers assaulted him even after he fell into a pit. Some on the other hand, tried to foiled the accused but to no avail. Seven individuals have been taken into police custody in relation to the crime.
