Delhi horror: 22-year-old youth repeatedly stabs woman after friendship turns sour [VIDEO]
In a shocking incident reported from the national capital, a 21-year-old woman was repeatedly stabbed by her male friend on Monday in Delhi's Adarsh nagar area. The man was allegedly infuriated that she broke off their friendship and stabbed the woman at least five to six times in broad daylight.
The accused, identified as Sukhvinder Singh, aged 22 was taken into police custody on Tuesday and charged under section 307 (attempt to murder) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
As maintained by reports, the woman was friends with the man over the course of several years however their friendship turned sour and she stopped talking to him. Irked over this, the man attacked her and ran away from the scene.

The police later discovered that Sukhvinder had absconded to Ambala and arrested him from there.
The woman has been admitted to Babu Jagjivan Ram hospital in Delhi's Jahangirpuri where she is currently receiving treatment and is in a stable condition.
Further investigation into the matter is underway.
This incident comes at a time the national capital reels from other crimes against women, including the recent death of a 20-year-old woman who died after she was dragged by a car for about 12 kilometres.
