Delhi: 27-year-old man shot at after spat over serving of omelette at food joint
A 27-year-old man was shot by a person at a food joint in central Delhi’s Chandni Mahal area, police said on Thursday.
According to the reports on news agency, PTI, the man was shot at after a quarrel broke out between the two over a serving of omelette at a food joint in the Chandni Mahal area.
The victim was identified as Nafees, a resident of Rakab Ganjab who has sustained a bullet injury in his right thigh. Meanwhile, he is out of danger.

The shocking incident took place late Wednesday night, police said.
As per senior police official (central) Sanjay Bhatia, the victim and the accused along with his accomplices were at a shop of omelettes at Chitli Qabar chowk. The quarrel broke out between the two sides over who would be served first.
Later, when Nafees was going to his home, the group of the accused men approached him and one of them fired in the air and then shot at the victim twice, a police official said.
The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital where he is under treatment, he added.
Police have recovered four empty shells from the crime spot. Moreover, a case has been registered against those who tried to kill Nafees and efforts are being made to nab all the accused.
