Coronavirus scare: Delhi couple deboarded from Rajdhani train after passengers observe quarantine stamp on hand
A couple was detrained from a Delhi bound Rajdhani express on Saturday after fellow passengers noticed a home quarantine stamp on the husband’s hand, the Railways stated on Saturday.
Officials stated that the couple boarded the Bangalore City-New Delhi Rajdhani Express at Secunderabad this morning.
When the train arrived at Kazipet in Telangana at 9:45 am a co-passenger saw a quarantine stamp on the husband’s hand while he was washing his hands. Other co-passenger then notified the TTE on board the train, the national transporter stated.
2 passengers marked with mandatory quarantine were found to be travelling on Rajdhani train between Bengaluru & Delhi today. They were immediately deboarded and the entire coach was sanitised.

Citizens are advised to practice social distancing and follow quarantine requirements.
The train was stopped for a short while and the couple was taken to a hospital. The coach was thoroughly sanitised in Kazipet and was locked, official stated.
The air conditioning was also switched off. The train left for its destination at 11:30 am.
