Reportedly, the residents of the villages in the Wada-Dahanu belt climb onto teakwood trees to catch the signals to make phone calls because of network problems.
According to a resident, due to a weak network, people in the area are compelled to climb trees and talk. However, it’s a big risk because there are high chances of falling from the tree, especially during monsoon season.
Another resident told that they have written letters to all service providers to improve the network but no one has responded yet, HT reported.
