BJP veteran LK Advani gets emotional while watching 'Shikara' [Video]
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) veteran LK Advani broke down while watching the movie ‘Shikara’: The Untold Story Of Kashmiri Pandits. It was a Hindi film produced and directed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra, based on the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits from Kashmir.
In a video, the BJP leader is seen trying to restrain his tears at the end of the movie while the director of the film rushes to comfort him. Other audience were also seen getting emotional and congratulating the maker for the movie.

Shikara is regarding how Kashmiri Pandits were forced to escape the Kashmir Valley in early 1990, as a consequence of insurgency. The filmmaker stated that the movie displays how Kashmiri Pandits reconstructed their lives in the aftermath of the disastrous event.
Starring Aadil Khan and Sadia, Shikara released on 7th February. Vidhu Vinod Chopra, who is from Kashmir, dedicates his movie to his mother, who passed away in 2007.
