Bihar horror: Minor girl gang-raped by three men in moving bus

In yet another case of crime against women reported from Bihar’s Bettiah, a minor girl was allegedly raped inside a moving bus. The incident came to light when the victim was found in a semi-conscious state in the bus.

The minor victim revealed that when she boarded a bus for Patna, three men laced her cold drink and raped her. The victim said in her statement that the driver, conductor and another man inside the bus gang-raped her.

Taking cognizance of the statement given by the victim, the police stright away took possession of the bus and took the driver and the conductor into their custody.

Speaking about the unfortunate incident, Bettiah SDPO, Mukul Pandey, told news agency ANI, "Three people were accused of allegedly raping a minor girl inside a bus in Bettiah, West Champaran dist. The girl was found on the bus in a semi-conscious state. The bus has been seized, the driver and helper of the bus have been arrested."

The three accused locked the bus and raped the girl, leaving her semi-conscious. The local people from the area found the minor girl on Tuesday.

The girl has been kept in police custody and has been sent for medical analysis. Presently, police are interrogating the arrested accused, said SDPO Pandey.
