Bengal Kisan rally: PM visits injured in hospital
Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the injured in the hospital and enquired about the condition of those who were hurt after a portion of a tent collapsed on them at his Kisan Kalyan rally in Medinipur on Monday.
In the middle of his speech, Prime Minister Modi saw the portion of the tent collapsing and instantly instructed the Special Protection Group (SPG) personnel standing behind him to attend to any injured.
Not only the local party unit, even Prime Minister Modi's personal staff ranging from his doctor to SPG personnel instantly rushed to help the people.

During his visit to the hospital, one of the injured women asked the Prime Minister for an autograph and he obliged.
The prime focus of the rally was the Centre's recent decision to increase the Minimum Support Price (MSP) of Kharif crops.

The Central Government on July 4 approved the proposal to hike MSP by 50 per cent for 14 Kharif crops for the year 2018-19.
