Ankita Bhandari murder case: Watch locals set accused Pulkit Arya's Vanatara resort on fire
Amid the ongoing investigation in the Ankita Bhandari murder case, furious people on September 24 set Vanatara resort on fire. The resort is owned by expelled BJP leader Vinod Arya's son, Pulkit Arya, who is one of the prime accused in the Ankita Bhandari murder case.
The 19-year-old girl used to work as a receptionist at the Vanatara resort in Rishikesh.

Meanwhile, people jammed a bus station in Pauri. Anger over the horrific crime, people also gheraoed the District Magistrate's office.
The body of a 19-year-old girl who was reported missing a few days ago was also recovered today from the Chilla canal in Rishikesh. Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami ordered a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to be formed to probe the case.
The development comes after three people, including Pulkit Arya, were arrested on Friday after they confessed to having pushed Ankita into the canal after an altercation.
On Friday, Uttarakhand authorities also bulldozed portions at the Vanatara Resort owned by Pulkit. CM Dhami said that district magistrates have been ordered to take action against all resorts inside Uttarakhand which have illegal construction.
