Fire brigade vehicles and water tankers are running on the roads of the largest industrial area of Rajasthan, Bhiwadi (adjacent to NCR), to settle the dust. There are over 6,000 industries in the industrial area, with thousands of workers coming to work every day.

Throughout the day, three vehicles ran one after the other making 20-22 rounds, and sprinkling water on the roads.

Over two lakh litres of water are sprayed every day to clean the air and settle the dust. The exercise will continue for about three months to control air pollution.

The RIICO is taking this preemptive exercise to curb the air pollution of Bhiwadi before it reaches dangerous levels. The city is currently moving towards an alarming figure of air pollution.

However, this is not the first time that air pollution in Bhiwadi reaches to alarming figure. Every year between October and November, the AQI in Bhiwadi reaches alarming levels. The air becomes so toxic that it becomes difficult for old people and children to breathe.

The state government is making every effort to control the pollution levels of the city.

Farmers in Punjab and Haryana burn stubble during the months of October and November, and Bhiwadi is in this direction from Delhi due to the wind that blows from west to east.

Fireworks in Delhi and dust particles in the air begin to fly in the sky, and pollution in Bhiwadi reaches an all-time high every year.
