Pali (Rajasthan): A one-day training program was organized at the Health Building in Jalore on Friday to ensure the success of the Pulse Polio Campaign. The program was conducted under the chairmanship of Chief Medical and Health Officer, Dr. Ramashankar Bharti. WHO experts Dr. Pankaj Suthar and Dr. Anita provided the necessary information to the supervisors on how to make the campaign a success.

During the training, it was emphasized that the first day of the campaign, June 23, will focus on administering Pulse Polio drops to as many children as possible at the polio booths. On the second and third days, June 24 and 25, health workers will visit households to administer the drops to left-out children. Dr. Bhajanram Vishnoi, Deputy Chief Medical and Health Officer, instructed health workers to ensure that all targeted children up to 5 years of age receive 100% Polio doses during the campaign. He also emphasized the importance of establishing coordination with ASHA Sahyoginis, Anganwadi workers, and volunteers to ensure that no child is left out.

In case any child misses the dose, they will be identified and administered the drops at their homes in the following days. The training program was attended by Vijendra Parmar, Ramesh Pannu, and other health workers from Block Jalore.
