Get Ready to Celebrate International Yoga Day on June 21!

Tonk (Rajasthan): The district administration and Ayurveda Department are gearing up to celebrate International Yoga Day on June 21 at the Police Parade Ground. The event will commence at 7:00 am. To ensure the successful and systematic organization of the event, Assistant Director of Public Services, Javed Ali, convened a meeting with concerned officials at the Collectorate on Friday.

During the meeting, Ali instructed the officials to complete their allotted tasks on time. Nodal Officer and Deputy Director of Ayurveda Department, Lalit Sharma, informed that hoardings would be installed at major intersections in the city to raise awareness among the public. Additionally, various social service organizations, yoga institutions, and individuals have been contacted to participate in the event. Sharma appealed to the public to participate in large numbers, along with their family and friends, at 7:00 am on the day of the event.

The meeting was attended by CEO of District Council, Pratishtha Pilaniya, Assistant Collector, Anita Khateek, Superintendent of Police, Suresh Dabriya, Naib Tehsildar, Nirbhay Sharma, District Education Officer, Pannalal Bairwa, Deputy Director of Women and Child Development, Saroj Meena, PMO, Dr. BL Meena, Municipal Council RO, Rajpal Bunkar, Scout Guide Secretary, Banwari Lal Bairwa, and District Youth Officer, Hitesh Kumar, among others.
