Heat Waves : These Indian cities tops the list of being hottest in the world; no relief for next five-days

Indian cities topped under the chart of the world’s warmest by El Dorado weather website. According to the website, 15 cities have made to the list mostly from Central India and from surrounding areas whereas the top place rests Kharhone, Madhya Pradesh with 46.6-degree Celsius.

According to the website, nine of the 15 cities are from Maharashtra, two from Uttar Pradesh, three from Madhya Pradesh and one from Telangana. According to PTI reports, this heat wave will continue to hit people for another five days. Apart from Kharhone, Bramhapuri was recorded at 45.8-degree Celsius, Wardha at 45.7degree celsius, Chandrapur at 45.6 degree Celsius, Amravati recorded 45.4 degree Celsius, Nagpur 45.2, Yavatmal 44.5, Washim 44.2, Gondia 43.8, Gadchiroli 43.2 and Buldhana 43.1 degree Celsius. According to reports Nagpur was at ninth position among the hottest in the world.

Due to this high temperature, the flora and fauna are also being affected terribly, according to report in TOI at least nine birds died due to heat at Gojra pond. According to the president of wildlife NGO Habitat Conservation Society of Chandrapur, blamed the industries of power plants, coal mines and other industries for producing the heat in the nearby areas.

Meanwhile, the department has issued a warning regarding the heatwave for the next five days in several districts across Vidarbha. The maximum temperature is expected to reach 45-47 degree Celsius.
