Watch: US TV host describes Ram Charan as ‘Brad Pitt Of India’; actor reacts
Actor Ram Charan, who is currently in Los Angeles with the ‘RRR’ team, has become quite popular among the local media after his action/drama flick clinched numerous international awards. Not only that, but the actor has also been seen actively interacting with the media and responding to their questions.
Recently, a host of an American news network introduced the Ram Charan in a way that the actor himself no thought of. The host of the KTLA Entertainment introduced the ‘RRR’ star as ‘Brad Pitt of India’.
Introducing the actor, the host said, “He has been referred to as the Brad Pitt of India.’ When asked, ‘Do you like that designation?” the Charan humbly said, “I mean, I like Brad Pitt for sure.” Well, the comparison will surely rolled some eyeballs in Bollywood.

Talking about his US trip, the ‘Magadheera’ actor is not there for a holiday, but for some serious business. He attended the Hollywood Critics Association Awards, where the ‘RRR’ team clinched some glittering trophies. The ‘Yevadu’ actor will also be attending the Oscars this month, where ‘RRR’ is nominated in the Best Original Song category. Interestingly, there will a live performance on the song ‘Natu Natu’ during the award ceremony.
Today, the actor treated his fans with some pictures from his Los Angeles diaries with the caption, "Soaking in the LA vibe. Thank you KTLA entertainment for having me. RRR back in theatres all across the United States starting March 3, catch us on the big screen once again."
At the Hollywood Critics Association Awards, movie ‘RRR’ won the Best International Film and 3 other prestigious awards. Ram Charan was also seen presenting an award at the ceremony. "Honoured to be representing Indian Cinema at the Hollywood critics awards along with SS Rajamouli and MM Keravani garu. I'm proud of the recognition we received as team RRR tonight. Thank you for having me as a presenter and Angela Bassett, I'm looking forward to my selfie with you soon," he wrote.
The actor also made an appearance on Good Morning America.
Recent months had been very busy for Ram Charan, Jr. NTR director SS Rajamouli as they attended the Golden Globe Awards in which ‘RRR’ song ‘Naatu Naatu’ won the Best Original Song. The movie was also nominated for the Best Foreign Language category. The action/drama flick also won big at Critics Choice Awards. And now, the RRR team is expecting an award in Oscars.
