Coronavirus impact on Bollywood: Salman Khan’s Radhe to Gulabo Sitabo, films release to postpone
After PM Modi announced lockdown till 14th April due to the growing risk of Coronavirus has perplexed all the business people. Bearing this brunt Bollywood has also paid a big price as many films releases have been postponed. As we told you earlier that March slot was postponed, however now April and May slot films are likely to get postponed.
Yes, it's true, though the lockdown will end on 15th April, however, makers are planning to push the release date of films ahead due to the Coronavirus. Also, overseas the lockdown is till May so this can be another factor for not releasing the film as they might face low collection.
Talking about the April and May slot here is the list of the films that are likely to get postponed.
83
Kabir Khan’s directorial which is a sports biopic that recreates the iconic 1983 Cricket World Cup. Multi starrer film stars Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Saqib Saleem, Harrdy Sandhu among others. The film is scheduled to release on 10th April but now the film has been delayed.

Gulabo Sitabo
Shoojit Sircar’s directorial starring Amitabh Bachchan and Ayushmann Khurrana is scheduled to release on 17th April. However, now the film is expected to shift its release date as Coronavirus risk is increasing.
Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl
Janhvi Kapoor starrer produced by Karan Johar’s, Dharma Production is scheduled to release on 24th April. However now eve this film stands delayed, the makers are yet to make an official announcement but due to the tense situation possibility is that it might get delayed.
Coolie No 1
David Dhawan’s directorial which is a remake of Govinda’s film stars Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan in the lead. The film which is slated to release on 1st May has also born the burnt of Coronavirus and now makers are planning to delay the release of the film.

Laxmmi Bomb
Akshay Kumar, Kiara Advani’s starrer is a remake of South film Muni 2: Kanchana. The film is slated to release on 22nd May, however, there are reports that on this day Akshay’s other film Sooryavanshi will release.
Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai
Salman Khan, Disha Patani starrer which is slated to release on Eid is likely to shift as cinema halls in New Zealand, Australia and Fiji would be shut till 23rd May and this shutdown might have an adverse effect on the Indian films. So even Bhai’s film will not release as per schedule.
Well, Bollywood is really going to pay a heavy price due to the coronavirus, however, before money health comes first and to protect the nation from spreading of Coronavirus such measures like lockdown is really important. Hope we get to see all these films this year itself.
