Rajasthan's Cultural Heritage to be Showcased at Assembly Museum

Jaipur: The Rajasthan Assembly Museum is all set to get a new look, with the Science and Technology Department taking charge of its operation and maintenance. A quadrilateral agreement was signed between the Rajasthan Assembly, Jaipur Smart City Limited, Vama Communication, and the Science and Technology Department in the presence of Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani on Tuesday.

As per the agreement, the Digital Museum will be operated and maintained by the Science and Technology Department. Devnani said that the museum's theme will be enriched with more knowledge based on the input of visitors. He added that the entrance hall of the museum will be decorated in a way that showcases Rajasthan's art and culture.

The museum's ramp will feature traditional art forms of Rajasthan, including miniature paintings, Mandana, Kaavad, and Mumal. The garden on both sides of the ramp will have trees like Khejri, which is native to Rajasthan. The museum will also display folk paintings that showcase the identity of different regions of Rajasthan.

Freedom Fighters and Cultural Icons to be Honored

Devnani informed that the museum will also have a section dedicated to freedom fighters like Maharana Pratap, Rana Sanga, Maharana Kumbha, Swami Vivekananda, and Bhimrao Ambedkar. The cultural gallery will feature contributions of legendary artists like Kripal Singh Shekhawat, Alla Jilallah Bhai, and other cultural experts.

The museum will also have a special section dedicated to Rajasthan's cultural icons like Gangaour Teej.

The agreement marks a new beginning for the Rajasthan Assembly Museum, which will now showcase the state's rich cultural heritage in a more vibrant and attractive way.
