Guru Purnima Celebrations Held with Great Fervour

Jhadamau: The Guru Purnima festival was enthusiastically celebrated at the Manokameshwari Devi temple on the hill. Guru Satyanand Tyagi worshipped Mataji and hoisted the saffron flag, considering it a symbol of the guru. During the event, devotees from the surrounding areas also performed guru puja. MLA Hazarilal Dangi also sought the blessings of Mataji and Guru Satyanand Tyagi. Additionally,  tree plantation was carried out on the hill.

On the occasion of Guru Purnima, a large number of devotees visit the temple to seek the blessings of Mataji. The locals also organized a khichdi and pudi distribution ceremony.


Guru-Shishya Relationship Emphasized

Jirapur: A grand Guru Purnima celebration was organized at the Ma Saraswati Academy. The program began with the worship of Ma Saraswati's idol. During the cultural program, the importance of gurus in life was highlighted, emphasizing that guidance from gurus can shape one's life. The students honoured their teachers by applying tilak and presenting them with gifts. Principal Suresh Suman explained the divine relationship between a guru and a student. A large number of students were present on the occasion.
